Eyedrop Magazine is an editorial project that investigates the role of semen (cum) in heterosexual amateur pornography, which is generally linked with a performance of toxic masculinity. Through the use of techno-cum (a plant-based substitute for the male-produced semen), the objectifying role that cum takes on in pornography is made explicit, in order to produce corrupted scenarios. In the photographic series, techno-cum is used as a signature/a graffiti to establish a social critique, by marking male connotated objects.

Mattia Friso is a visual artist working across photography, video, space, objects, and prints. Through interactive environments, his work explores the intersection of technology, perception, memory, and image-making, starting from a personal and queer lens. He uses a material-based, iterative research approach to uncover and question the societal norms embedded within systems of representation, particularly those shaped by technological apparatuses.
