XXX is a photography project showcasing a sensual and imaginative depiction of erotic photography, one which trascends traditional gender and sexual orientation limits.

By mixing and matching real photographs with 3D renderings, the project portrays bodies in their most abstract version, turning them into shapes and surfaces.

The digital pores of the procedural skins merge with images of erotic objects and materials such as fishnets, vinyl, chains, mirrors, satin fabric, and spikes, creating a reimagined vision of erotica.

Mattia Friso is a visual artist working across photography, video, space, objects, and prints. Through interactive environments, his work explores the intersection of technology, perception, memory, and image-making, starting from a personal and queer lens. He uses a material-based, iterative research approach to uncover and question the societal norms embedded within systems of representation, particularly those shaped by technological apparatuses.
